Why iPhone 12 mini production is being discontinued
Apple launched a new line last year which included the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12 pro and the iPhone 12 pro max. While the demands for all the models have been pretty good, the demand for iPhone 12 mini has not fared well which why the production is being discontinued in Q2 due to poor sales and low demand.
The iPhone 12 mini came with a 5.4 inch screen and was Apple’s most inexpensive device but it also constituted only 6% of the sales, according to the reports. which why now the iPhone 12 mini has become the short live flagship model in iPhone history as even JP Morgan Chase’s analyst William Young has also confirmed that the market demand for the iPhone 12 mini is weak and global sales are way too low to continue the production.
While this hasn’t discouraged Apple yet as they are still going to launch another small iPhone model with the new range this year in which they will be correcting some things like battery life which has been a major concern for the apple users. Which is why they are taking the problem into consideration and will be improving on it before launching a new model this year.
