Half of Slovakia’s population tested for coronavirus in a day
Nearly half of the population of Slovakia willingly took a coronavirus swab test on Saturday. It was the first day of a two-day nationwide coronavirus testing drive organized by the Slovak government. The defense minister of Slovakia, Jarsolav Nad revealed on Sunday that 5.28 million Slovaks took the swab test on Saturday amongst which 25,850 people tested positive for COVID-19 and must go in quarantine. The test was free and voluntary. The total population of the country is 5.5 million.
