The 3 years Leadership Development Program at their Headquarters in Michigan, USA, along with a challenging role in Innovation & Competitive strategy, truly exposed him to not only different facets of IT along with embedding leadership skills but also enabled the Innovation mindset. From there on, Deep’s journey in the IT sector was marked by progressive responsibilities and notable achievements; where after 10 years of stint in the US, he relocated back to India, heading the entire technology application portfolio for India & Southeast Asia markets and truly ensuring digital footprints across the business functions for these markets. There, he was immersed in a crucible of digital transformation, steering large-scale projects and crafting long-term technology roadmaps for the markets & region.
At present, Deep is working as General Manager, IT & Digital Experience Kohler, where he drives digital excellence and spearheads transformative agenda to improve consumer experiences. His focus on enhancing consumer experiences is a clear indicator of a leader who understands that technology is not about internal efficiency alone but about creating value for the end user.
His recognition as a 40 under 40 India 2024 leader by World Brand Affairs further underscores his innovative spirit and significant impact.
Looking ahead, Deep envisions a future where IT is not just a support function but a strategic partner & Trusted Advisor having a seat in the CEO’s office. He advocates for a proactive role for IT where the core principle should be to drive innovation and create new opportunities for Technology intervention while moving away from the traditional order-taking role. This vision is not just aspirational; it’s a practical roadmap for businesses navigating the complexities of the digital landscape.
As the FMCD & other industries continue to evolve, Deep’s influence will undoubtedly shape their growth trajectory.
